The third and final portion of the Wadsworth Street repair program is underway.
The Concrete Slab replacement program is currently underway and should be wrapped up by the end of October.
Crews are currently working on West Good Avenue. Once that portion of the project is completed, crews will move to Baldwin and Tolbert, then to Portage and Third Streets, and finally to David’s Cove and Hillsdale.
Wadsworth Service Director Robert Patrick said crews remove bad concrete slabs and replace it with fresh, new concrete. Patrick said crews alternate sides of the street in order for traffic to flow smoothly. Patrick believes it is not too late in the year to get concrete work done.
The two other portions of the Wadsworth Street Repair program involved asphalt repaving and crack and seal.
